Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade is by every means a child of destiny and harbinger of joy considering the circumstances of his birth. Born on March 21st, 1967 (Ileya Day) after pregnancy reported to have lasted for over a year, Abiodun is the only surviving child of his mother who had 7 other children; all female.
He began his elementary education at St Paul Anglican Primary School Owode Yewa, from where he proceeded to Area Community High School Owode, and later to Community High School Alapoti for his secondary education. He was admitted to study accountancy at the Federal polytechnic Ibadan and passed out in 1991 with a Higher National Diploma Certificate. While at Ibadan Poly, he was involved in student union politics and served as the treasurer of the student union government. In year 2000 he gained admission into the University of Ado-Ekiti and passed out in 2002 with a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA). In December 2012, he was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in Management by "Universitee de Sciencies Management, Port Novo, Republic du Benin.
