It is important to salute the heroic courage, contributions and esteemed gesture of Comr.Dare Ajibolade, the first chairman of Cdhr Ogun State,a dogged ,proactive and tiredless freedom fighter who has made an history today in the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights and the Civil Society constituency. My appreciation is incomplete without acknowledging some factors in Ogun CDHR, Our renowned former National Publicity Secretary of CDHR Comr.Tunde Oladunjoye ,Comr.Olasupo Ojo, Comr.Deji Adebowale, Comr.Bankole Solomon , Comr.Atobatele Ibrahim ,Comr.Femi Agunbiade ,Comr.Pius Ntuen,Lagos State Branch and the entire Human Rights activists of CDHR in Nigeria

February 15, 2014, a decision was made in the history of CDHR Ogun State,CDHR Nigeria, the Civil Society and the entire Human Rights world, I have no doubt but as a living witness that your endurance during your tenure of office is a stride to our continuous existence even amidst inevitable challenges
Our ever conscious gentlemen of the press your enviable impact in Ogun state has demonstrated the roles of journalism in linear democracy is non-negotiable, it is only an uncivilized society that will not appreciate the effort of the Civil society and Journalism in the front agitation for good governance. Any government that fails to promote Human Rights is doomed to fail in any capacity, however I believe it is a new era of indivisible partnership between the CDHR and NUJ Ogun State
Fellow comrades, we are key players, substantive stakeholders, the heart of common masses and hope of this country, I beseech us not to relent in our activities rather engage the oppressors, challenge the siege, and promote justice irrespective of the circumstances we find ourselves

Comrades, let me use this medium to seek the cooperation of the State Governor Sen.Ibikunle Amosun FCA, the Honourable Commissioner of Police, Director of State Security Service and other constitutionally saddled agency with the responsibility of maintaining Peace,Order and Security in the State. This request is fundamental as your supposed roles in summary focus on human rights sustainability in the State hence your cooperation will be much required, I am of the ideological school that the 3 C’s to struggle be exhausted on the agitation ground. Consultation, Consolidation and Confrontation
The Anti-Corruption agencies, EFCC, ICPC , Judiciary and our Diamond partners in the struggle the Nigerian Labour Congress led by the ever ready Comr.Ambali Akeem ,Trade Union Congress and other civil society organizations in the state your cooperation to nutrient our hard earned democracy
through our Anti-corruption crusade, sensitization programs among other areas we shall be focusing is inevitable, do not hesitate to participate whenever the trumpet is blown

Comr.Folarin Olayinka
Chairman,Committee for the Defence of Human Rights Ogun State Branch
