WAS BUHARI POISONED?

It is common knowledge, for the past few months, that the health of President Buhari has not been what Nigerians have hoped for. Everywhere you look, these days, Nigerians are doing either of two things; praying for his quick and full recovery or asking the question what is wrong with the President’ s health?

The problem with the status quo is that Nigerians are desirous of the immediate return of the President to work because of the many challenges, especially the economic, facing the nation. Nigerians would have been pleased with the situation if they have the facts about what is actually ailing the President. Instead of the facts, his handlers are replete with assurances that he is improving and needs to rest and is working from home!

The memories of what happened to the late President YarArdua quickly to the minds of many Nigerians and a repeat of the shenanigans that were perpetrated in that case is what Nigerians do not want to happen this time around.

Now comes the news that the President cannot eat and drink. His latest pictures, when you can find one, reveal his emaciated status. In the midst of all of these speculations, the news going around, based on its availability from “usually reliable Villa sources that crave anonymity” is that President is a victim of a poisoning attempt. It is becoming rife! If so, it will be a dastardly act and the perpetrator/s must be brought to justice. Is it true? Who tried to poison him? When? Enquiring Nigerian and world minds want and need to know!

His handlers cannot continue to keep these serious developments from Nigerians and the world. We need answers pronto! May Allah and the Creator of all Nigerians and Nigeria forbid this scary development. Put them to shame Mr. President. The world is praying for you.
