The full words, written in Portuguese are: Eu sou ladrão e vacilão, which translates to ‘I am a thief and a loser’.

Both the thief and the artist have been arrested. The technology to 'untattoo' tattoos is still  in infancy. This implies that the  bike thief is on life parole .
