A BRIEF STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION

Mr. Jones M. Harris, Acting Executive Director, and the Board of the Liberian Community Association of Rhode Island (LCARI) are warmly commended for expertly organizing the 179th Liberian Independence Anniversary in Providence, Rhode Island.

The successful celebration brought the local community together and featured key highlights, including:

# The Official Flag-Raising Ceremony: Held at Providence City Hall and organized in collaboration with the Providence City Council.

# Cultural History Celebrations: A weekend of heritage promotion, parades and family activities designed to honor Liberian resilience and community ties in the city.

The exceptional execution of these events highlights the strong cultural pride and vital community spirit within the diaspora. Congratulations to you all for the job well done.
