Fayose concedes Osun Election to APC

Ekiti State Governor-Elect, Ayodele Fayose has reportedly expressed doubt over the ability of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Osun state, Senator Iyiola Omisore of winning the election.

Fayose reportedly said this while speaking during a radio programme on progress 100.5 fm Ado-Ekiti.

“I can’t see Omisore winning the poll, I don’t think he can win, but I wish him good-luck”, Fayose is quoted to have said.

Fayose , a grassroot politician, has  strategically avoided Omisore. His estimates of Omisore should be taken serious

Lagbaja, The Yoruba Masquerade cum Musician has bluntly turned down an offer from the Iyiola Omisore campaign organization to perform at the Grand Finale campaign rally and reception for President Goodluck Jonathan coming up in Osogbo in two weeks time for The PDP Governorship candidate in the August 9th Osun State Election, Senator Iyiola

His words:

"Though the court of the land discharged and acquainted you (Omisore) in the murder case against the Former Minister of Justice in Nigeria, The Late Cicero of Esa – Oke and Foremost Nationalist; Chief Bola Ige, I have deep rooted innermost conviction that you are culpable in the death of my mentor and benefactor, if you offer me all the allocation of Osun State during your four year tenure par-adventure you win (which I seriously doubt), I will not perform for Iyiola Omisore Governorship election"
