According to the commisioner for information, , Mr Tayo Koleoso will now head the Ministry of Integration and Inter-governmental Affairs, as Chief Fatai Abimbola now heads Ministry of Natural Resources, while Ministry of Transport is to be headed by Professor Nureni Tanimowo.
Chief Abimbola, a chartered accountant with a very humble mien will bring to fore his many years of service in private sector. This department is expected to see injection of new ideas and rejuvination of good old ones.
Mrs Atinuke Osunkoya retained her portfolio as Commissioner of Women Affairs, while the former Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Mr Abimbola Kolade now heads Ministry of Works.
Governor Ajimobi also assigned the Ministry of Water Resources to Mr Wale Adeoye, as the Ministry of Local Government will be headed by Honourable Fatai Buhari, while Mr Azeez Onaola heads Ministry of Special Duties.
Alhaji Abideen Oladimeji will be in charge of the Ministry of Establishment, with the Ministry of Agriculture to be headed by Honourable Iyiola Ambali Hammed and finally, the Ministry of Land and Housing will be headed by the former Commissioner for Local Government and Chietaincy Matters, Mr Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu.
Explaining the delay in the announcement of the portfolios, the commissioner for information said government needed to wait for the process of creation of ministries by the state House of Assembly before the announcement of portfolios for the commissioners.
